Max is going to School!

You know I've been looking for Max's perfect school for a while.
I went to so many school tours every week.
it was the super tired work

The schools I liked "way too expensive!!"
The school with a good tuition "not that great even for the tuition"
and so on ~~ and many other reasons I didn't chose-
Max didn't like home-based preschool.
He thinks it's home it's not a school -
He got so tired easily when we had test there for few hours.
Schools at home don't work for Max.

I found the perfect one for Max.
It was our community center right next to the Natomas Library!
Max and I go often for the park and playground!
They have the huge awesome playground!

The reason I didn't even think about that place was I knew they have preschool,
I asked one of moms in playground about the preschool at community center.

She told me that preschool only accepted from 4 year - 5 year old.
So I didn't even think to consider that place.
but one day I don't know why, I went inside the community center,
and so the pamphlet for preschool!
I don't even need an appointment for a tour of school.
Receptionist? girl told me I can just go in and look and talk to the teachers!
So I did!

Other mom would think 2 and half(more than half) is too early for going to preschool.
But it depends on kids.
Max is so ready!
Super ready!!

It wasn't too small and not dirty!
and I loved the teachers there.
they are the kindest teachers I've ever met so far.
I have been to so many many many tons of school tours so far, they were the kindest.
and Max was so in love with this school when we had first visit.
Max just sit down with other kids and didn't want to leave ^^

There were many schedules.
I chose Tue and Thur from 9am to 2:30pm.
(they have another schedule from 9 to 11:30am)
I worried if it's too long but Max loves it.
and one reason I chose this schedule,
after 11:30 more than half of kids picked up by parents,
only 5~7kids left after 11:30.
small class and teacher can take care better with less kids.
and they do more education activities with a small class afternoon.

I pack his lunch..(mostly he doesn't eat very much ^^;;)

but every time when I pick up Max, I bring food so Max eat something after school.
Because I know they don't feed each kids one by one like parents.
Kids can distracted and just have crackers which isn't meal.
So I bring food.
They have little cafeteria inside.

Sometimes I get food from Mac or Taco bell or In and out which Max loves.
I want him to eat left overs from his lunch but food is cold.
I don't think cold food is food.

When every moms pick up their kids we wait for a while in front of door,
and see our kids sing a song
I don't know what song is.. but something about thank you and mom ..lol

On Friday Max and I go Gymnastics for open day!
it's 10$.
Max used to go there but after I had morning sickness I stopped go there.
Max loved there..so I felt kind of guilty.

Every Wednesday,
Erika and I hang out in Roseville.
so Max and Evan hang out together.

All my dental, orthos, OB appointments are on Tuesday and Thursday while Max is at school.
How nice!!
I clean the house better in the morning.
Have my own time before 2nd baby is born.

You know what??
it's the heaven!!
Heaven isn't very far up there.
Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 2:30 is my heaven!
lol

So glad you found the perfect fit for you and Max. You and Alex know what is best for him and what makes him happy. I'm excited when I come for baby boy #2 to see him there in his school.
